Throughout Lulas many years in the workshop, she has both built and rescued a variety of robotic companions. Believing no robot should be mistreated or enslaved, she offers many of them a home in her workshop.
Whether or not they are capable of understanding any of this is irrelevant, Lula does her best to give them everything they need to function and even grow.
While her workshop is getting quite crowded, Lula is content with her little robotic family.

Lulas first true robotic creation. After following the blueprints created by her late partner Bimby, Lula set out to create her first mechanical companion.
Mired in grief, she created this robot in his image, as best she could.
Over the years she developed a severely problematic attachment to this robot, causing her a large amount of emotional distress.
These days however she is doing much better, and as Lulas skills with robotics improved, so did Spanners.
Once being Lulas sole guardian and protector, he now acts as the 'guardian' of the rest of the robots in Lulas workshop.

One of the first instances Lula "rescued" a robot and took them in. Clockwork used to be a servant in a toyshop.
To Lula, the owner appeared to to rude to Clockwork, commanding him to do things the robot didn't want to do and mistreating him by often kicking him and referring to him as a "pile of junk"
Lula took all of this very personally, but was able to contain her anger and instead convince the owner to let Lula buy Clockwork and take the "pile of junk" of his hands.
Ever since then, in Lulas eyes, Clockwork has happily pottered around workshop enjoying his freedom.

Lulas first "successful" attempt at creating a robotic animal, Fizzle the "cat" was created by Lula who was experimenting with quadrupedal creations, having previously only trying to create humanoid robots.
Fizzle earned their name as Lula struggled quite a bit with the wiring. Creating the blueprints herself from scratch, it took her many attempts before Fizzle was fully functioning. Lula's satisfied that Fizzle is content in the workshop, acting like she would expect a cat to act. They can be often seen perched on shelves or crates, emitting a slight electrical buzzing sound.

Having found a memory core washed up on the shore of Westfall with a distress signal. Lula attempted to unlock the artificial intelligence within.
After communicating with the intelligence Lula set her sights on creating the most "human like" robot she could.
She succeeded somewhat, creating a robot with working eyelids, working fingers, working voicebox and even a partially functioning "digestive system"
In true Lula fashion, she instantly fell in love with MINRVA, treating her like a daughter and raising her accordingly.

Considered a defective model by his creator, a well-known Mechagonian roboticist, MODRON was intended to be a low-cost domestic repair bot. Whether by some spark of intelligence or glitch in his code, MODRON began exhibiting signs of a personality and sought to repair his fellow robots too beyond the specifications of his programming. Lula could not just let him be thrown away, so brought him home.
Acting as a nurse of sorts for the other robots in Lula's workshop, making sure they're all charged up and any dents or scratches are mended. He has also taken to painting, and Alaina has taken a shine to him for his brave and creative soul and calls him her son.

A Commander in the Alliance Military and a staunch protector and patriot of the Alliance, Lance holds a deeply seated guilt for not being able to save the sister he was very much attached to, Lula, from sorrow in their childhood. Thinking she was dead, his grief hurled him deep into his Military Career.
However after rising through the ranks for over 15 years and fighting in multiple skirmishes, he was astonished to find she was in the capital of the Alliance this whole time.

Perhaps facing the worst fate of all her siblings, or at least believing she had, Apples holds an undying resentment for those who sought to abuse her younger self.
Though she escaped one fate, she was swiftly taken and moulded into a skilled killer with no regard for life.
While she harbours a seething hatred for what happened to her, along with a disdain for almost all men, she uses her skills when she can to free women from a similar fate she had suffered and to bring them to a secret sanctuary.

Being forced down a similar path as Apples was at a similar age, Casey tried to make the best of it.
Over time she became known as "Fiore La Rose", the star dancer at the Elwynn Gentleman's Club. Known for her striking looks and charisma, she made heaps of gold for the business and saw much wealth and fame herself.
The catch? She could never leave. Trapped in her gilded cage, it took the combined efforts of almost all of Lula's family to rescue her from the clutches of the seedy underworld, she now dwells in a sanctuary with Apples, hidden from the world as she hopes those who enslaved her will eventually forget about her so she can live out the rest of her life.
