Rosie Emberlin

Rosie Emberlin

Seeker of Mastery

Discarded

Like all Dracthyr, the individual who would later be called Rosie was born and bred for war.

Rather than the art of subterfuge, scouting or support her role was simple: absolute destruction.

She was trained in the art of Draconic Pyromancy and could hurl huge fireballs to obliterate enemy fortifications and melt them with powerful flames.

However, like all Dracthyr, Rosie's prowess in battle was not enough to prevent her from being tossed into stasis and forgotten for millennia.

A World at our Fingertips

Erin is a lifelong explorer. From as soon as she learned how to teleport back home Erin travelled as far and wide as she could, exploring new lands and meeting new people. She holds a strong belief that anyone should be able to travel anywhere as we all inhabit the same world.

She has just as many friends within the Horde as she does with the Alliance, and has even gone as far as Outland.

Meeting so many people across the world helped her realise that all people, regardless of their origins, all are the same at the end of the day.

Erin has worked a variety of jobs in her time; anything from a private investigator, portal logistics contractor and even an archaeologist. She currently isn't employed by any particular company after finishing the Waygate Restoration Project with the Dragonscale Expedtion but has contacts in almost every continent so is never short of work. She has friends and clients from Stormwind to Suramar, Northrend, Pandaria, Valdrakken and Khaz Algar.

Erin uses her work not just as a way to maintain her comfortable life but also as a way to see the world, uncover secrets and mysteries, help people with magic and grow her magical arsenal. Maybe one day her wanderlust will be sated but she hopes it is not anytime soon.

A New World

After waking, Rosie continued the only thing she knew: war against the elementalists.

It was only after the final battle at Amirdrassil which allowed Rosie to roam freely.

However, in this new world she finds herself anxious and awaiting yet another conflict.

For a life that has known nothing but, how else could she act?

Rosie now travels the world seeking even greater mastery over pyromancy.

She believes she has conquered all she can know of the draconic style, and wishes to learn from masters from any clan or creed. Whether they be Dark Iron, Sin'dorei, or Demon Rosie does not care.

She plans on besting all of them and learning from the best.

Even she might not understand the true limits of her potential.  -  Rosie does her best to fit in, not wishing to be noticed or stand out as a Dracthyr.

Fitting In

She'll often travel around town in her visage, hiding under an illusory mantle. Her scarlet robes and pointed hat invoke the idea of a traditional sorcerer, her face shadowed by the brim of her hat and her other features covered by a large collar.

Without her illusory robes, Rosie's human features are almost too perfect.

All the hairs on her head are the exact same length aside from a small fringe, her eyes have an almost unnatural glow to them, and her skin is impossibly smooth and untextured.

In her true form, Rosie is an imposing figure, though about average in terms of height for Dracthyr.

She has scarlet scales that match the same colour as her visage robes, and the same glowing yellow eyes. With a smooth, slender figure, Rosie might almost look serpentine if it weren't for the wings and pointed horns adorning her head.

Regardless of these features, Rosie still finds herself striking fear and unrest when among those of less worldly dispositions such as the denizens of Old Town who have scarcely seen a dragon save perhaps from Deathwing not too long ago.

Her visage is both her mask and her armour, a way she can travel freely and undisturbed within cities and with people who she usually might be unable to speak with.
